Few building elements combine function and design as directly as a staircase. At CAMT in Riesa we manufacture treads, risers and block steps in natural stone, terrazzo and porcelain stoneware, cut to the millimetre - as a one-piece block-step profile with an integrated nosing or as classic step cladding. Whether a striking entrance staircase, a cantilevered indoor stair with glass balustrade or a weather-resistant outdoor stair: we advise you on material, surface finish and anti-slip edge treatment.
Requirements for Stairs
Stairs are exposed to high mechanical stress every day - material hardness, edge stability and an anti-slip surface are correspondingly important. Outdoors, frost resistance and weather protection are added to the list. Depending on the location, we recommend different types of stone, profiles and surface finishes.
