Characteristic are its embedded fossils – shells and ammonites – that tell the story of the stone's formation over millions of years. Properties of Jura Marble

Geologically speaking, Jura marble is a limestone – yet its firm, even structure can be polished much like marble, which brings the fine fossil inclusions out in especially vivid relief. With medium hardness, it is easy to work and suits floors as well as facades.
