Properties of Lasa & Göflan Marble

What sets Lasa and Göflan marble apart from other marbles is its exceptional density and purity: fewer pores and a more uniform crystal structure give it greater resistance to weathering than many other marbles – one reason the stone is also used for exterior facades and monuments.

Like any marble, however, it remains acid-sensitive and requires regular care. Due to the limited extraction volume and the demanding high-mountain quarrying, this marble is among the most exclusive natural stones in our range.
